Manhattans Pizza use Andromeda POS to track their way to record sales!

Andromeda is thrilled to announce the launch of GPS and Customer Order Tracking at one of their longest standing customers, Manhattans Pizza in Titchfield, Hampshire.

Manhattans Pizza use Andromeda to track their way to record sales! Having successfully trusted the order taking, make screen and driver dispatch process to Rameses for many years within their high volume delivery-only operation, the owners of the company were keen to maximise their operating efficiency by introducing a host of new Andromeda technologies to their business. Now their customers can place their orders directly on the Manhattans Pizza website and track the progress of their order, from the point their pizzas are prepped, through the oven and slice table, then watch the driver in real time via GPS, whizz around the roads to their address bringing their food. All the drivers can be tracked and managed by a realtime map back at Manhattans Pizza HQ, to ensure the drivers time and resources are managed as effectively as possible with minimal effort during their busy shifts.

Expert in the food delivery industry, Andromeda’s Mark Metcalfe revealed “When you’re trying to balance wage costs, quality of product and speed of service every additional bit of support helps and that is what Rameses and GPS tracking gives a great operation like Manhattans Pizza. Rameses reports show you historic information to help you schedule more effectively and what your product mix is likely to be, so you cut down on un-necessary prep and reduce wastage. With the GPS you know exactly how much longer a driver will be until he returns to base, enabling you to have the next order exiting the oven as he walks through the front door and turning him around on his next delivery immediately. This reduces wasted time and money for you as an owner and ensuring that the order is dispatched as quickly as possible to the customer so they receive a hot fresh pizza as quickly as possible.”

James Kendal, one of the founders of Manhattans Pizza, said “The GPS is so cool! It’s absolutely brilliant knowing where all our drivers are at all times and definitely a big help in planning when to put pizzas in the oven so they don’t wait on the hot rack any longer than they have to. And having accurate reports on delivery times is great so we can monitor orders etc for marketing purposes. We had a record nights sales on Saturday, so very happy about that.”
