Proven digital voucher scheme to unite independent and branded restaurants

Andromeda, the leading supplier of Electronic Point-of-Sale (EpoS) systems to the food delivery industry whose clients include Itsu, easyPizza, Papa John’s Pizza, The Bombay Bicycle Club, New York Pizza and hundreds of independent restaurants have announced a unique alliance with i-movo, the digital voucher specialists.

Under the terms of the agreement, Andromeda’s EpoS system will accept and validate i-movo promotional vouchers in realtime. Owing to the unique nature of Andromeda’s system, this facility can be made available to all restaurants that use Andromeda’s system with no additional integration effort required from the restaurateur.

“Andromeda has always been focused on driving additional business for our restaurateurs and this opens up a new spectrum of marketing possibilities,” said Ben Portsmouth, CEO of Andromeda. “Consumer goods companies and publishers who want to run sales promotions featuring discounted or free dining offers can now do this digitally. Loyalty scheme operators can now allow their members to order reward vouchers for instant use. Our restaurateurs themselves can market to their customer to encourage trade during off-peak hours”.

“At a stroke, Andromeda have created a formidable sales promotion and marketing property,” said David Tymm, CEO at i-movo. “Removing paper from the equation makes vouchers instant to distribute, which will lead to greater consumer participation and increased Return on Investment from marketing spend. This initiative bears the hallmarks of all i-movo projects: great value for the consumer, zero financial risk for the issuer and instant measurement of results”.
