The Sales Account Executive is responsible for maximizing revenue and market share in the North American market. Drive Andromeda sales with solid industry knowledge and experience, effective sales skills, and with a focus on customer satisfaction. Understand the client’s business needs and requirements and sell through appropriate solutions on the Andromeda platform. Position the Andromeda software for consideration and meet or exceed the strategic technology and sales goals. As a member of the sales team, the Sales Account Executive is a champion of the organization’s overall goals, objectives, and corporate values.

Position Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Take a strategic approach to sales, ensuring that you effectively mine your designated territory and corporate accounts.
  • Bring on new customers and otherwise service and expand existing accounts through exemplary customer service.
  • Prospect, qualify and close business with our prospects and customers.
  • Build sales funnel through constant contact with prospects, and update all information collected in the CRM.
  • Work as a team, orchestrating deals over the telephone or face-to-face with prospect or customers.
  • Complete demos and provide all information necessary for prospects and customers to make an informed decision.
  • Ensure that all calls, contacts, and follow-up with prospects and customers are completed within guidelines set by the Sales Manager.
  • Document accurately all telephone, sales activity, and follow-up calls, using CRM.
  • Review and evaluate market conditions and, based on analyses, design and develop aggressive sales strategies, with Sales Manager, to increase sales volume potential.
  • Be able to articulate the Andromeda platform architecture, and identify the Andromeda unique value proposition.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows and customer conventions inCanadaand theUS; review the results to establish effectiveness and recommend changes or enhancements.
  • Create appropriate Andromeda system configurations for customers’ needs.
  • Develop quotes, proposals, and cost options for prospects and customers.
  • Liaise with other departments to contribute to and establish effective processes that support the sales function.
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing department to leverage leads; provide open and frequent feedback to Sales Manager regarding quantity and quality of such leads.
  • Communicate with the Tech Operations department on current installs and follow up; update install report weekly.
  • Collect all required documentation for completed sales.
  • Make sure deposits and final payments are received.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of the position, and participate in job-related training programs or associated personal development initiatives as required.
  • Meet or exceed all sales targets and goals as defined by Sales Manager.
  • Provide all sales-related reports or documents requested by Sales Manager and other departments.
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings as requested by Sales Manager.
